It seemed only yesterday that I attended the Xerocon South 2016 expo.
Then I looked at the calendar and realised nearly a month has passed. I guess my experience in Brisbane left an impression, and not just because I saw Xero’s CEO Rod Drury riding a penny board.
The atmosphere in the Brisbane Convention Center was pumping with enthusiasm. The exhibition hall was a mad rush of people during the main speaker breaks. And when attendees cleared the floor to sit in on presentations, we at the Cin7 exhibitor booth could hear the cheering and applauding through the closed doors.
Xero have developed such a positive company culture that has spread to all their partners. Cin7 was lucky to get to meet a lot of them, and to come away with some great people showing interest in our Partner Program, which Cin7 just officially launched yesterday.
After Xerocon, and then after weeks of helping out with the launch of our Partner Program, I like to think that we here at Cin7 can develop a similar kind of vibe to what Xero has created among its partners. Partners from all over Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific attended, giving Xerocon a sense of a kind of family reunion.
I think we’re off to a good start. Cin7 was working with a few partners before we officially launched the program. We ran into some of them at the Cin7 booth at Xerocon, which kind of reflected the synergy between our connected inventory management software and Xero’s accounting solution. It’s not just the technology that works well together, but the people, too, like Jeri Murphy of WhichAddOn, who I had the pleasure to meet at Xerocon. WhichAddOn are acountants who became cloud integrators who’ve long worked with Xero and since last year have also been Cin7 partners. It’s been a good fit for both our companies.
This week we were busy rolling out our two-tier Partner Program, and if you’d like to know more about the benefits of partnering with Cin7 as a Referral Partner or as a Certified Integrator, click here.
