Michael Davis

Michael has extensive experience in System Administration and Retail Systems fom over 10 years. Working in the IT services industry for organizations including Apple, Fujitsu, Coles Myer, Woolworths, Commonwealth Bank, McDonalds Australia and various Queensland local and state government departments.

Michael co-founded Rype with the aim to create a fresh new business approach, combining tools and solutions based on the new concept of the cloud (internet) applications and the always solid foundation of Apple’s computer and mobile platforms. As more and more practical mobile and access anywhere technologies appear, Rype can assist you and your organisation to both understand and deliver digital connectedness which perfectly suit your work personal lifestyles. Key to this is separation from the restrictions and costs of traditional insular windows-centric solutions “just because that's what we've always done”.

Michael is also a commissioned officer in the Australian Army and has the opportunity to apply his technical skills with his posting at the Army Simulation Wing which delivers simulation support to defence organizations throughout South East Queensland.
